motors are the biggest difference, s=110kw 2.2 single cam, si=125kw 2.3 twin cam good strong motor lasted me 300,000kms and won many a drag off the lights and vtir=145kw 2.2 twin cam vtec. high revving high power very fast kicks arse you'll love it. one of the fastest p plate legal too. some other differences like 4ws (not necessarily better but very cool nonetheless) is on si. some year models have full light up dash (black when ignition off) and some only half (still can see speedo and tacho when off).

s = 96kw sohc
si = 118kw dohc
vtir = 142kw vtec dohc
94+ is updated, nicer interior, couple of visual differences.
get Si if u want power around town. but if ur willing to rev it over 5k, get vtec and u'll never look back.

Yep for a quick ride go for the VTi-R. You get some nicer goodies to as well as the H22A engine.
Also, you can actually get pre-94 models in VTEC, but its either a JDM import or a swapped engine.
To tell a JDM import from a local model, check for a windscreen wiper. Windscreen wiper donates a JDM import and none means its a local.
Good luck in your search.
what is the difference of the windscreen wiper between JDM & AU?

If a lude has a rear wiper its an import. Unless the rear window has been broken and replaced with AUDM of cource. As stated above check out
www.preludeaustralia.com
you'll find all the info you need without starting a thread that people dont tend to reply to beacuse the same question has been asked some many times..............

Good price? Motor look good from the pic? Car look good nick? If this one doesn't have the log books, there's another one on carsales, 93 model with full log books, less km's. What you guys reakon?
