found my answer.. 1991 gen4 preludes where released in Japan. does that mean that all 91 gen4 preludes are all jap-spec imports?

yes they can be 1991 4th gens....i had one...

The build plate said DEC 91 so it had to be rego'd as a 1991 car.

No difference to any 1992 model, just one of the first ones off the production line....
