Gday guys,
May have seen by a few of my posts im doing brake and sussy upgrade. Now i would like some coilovers but atm its not viable. Somebody on here is selling DC2 ITR suspension with LCA's. Now he guarantees it will fit and that he had it all on his eg. I just dont know enough to not follow up with a few others people. Does everyone agree that this suspension will fit my ed9?. Also would anyone be able to hazard a guess at how far this suspension would lower my car? And also, if i were to put eibach springs on them they would obviously be springs suited to dc2 not the crx yeah?? Thanks for the help guys..

Hi yes it will fit,
For rear shocks you the type r control arms because they have an eye instead of a fork.
For the front shocks you will need the forks because they have a thicker body.
With these parts it will all bolt up but im not sure how the car will sit height wise.
But if you buy springs buy them to suit your height.

See this thread

Apparently the ITR LCA is 4mm longer.

My thoughts are, if the ITR LCA is longer, it would throw your Camber out of wack. So you should infact reuse the ED LCA to keep your camber in check.

Then comes the issue that the ITR is wider, where the shock bolts into...
So, the ITR rear shock might not fit into an ED LCA.

I'm using an ED shock at the moment in an EG and it fits perfectly into the ITR LCA (But others says it don't... :-/)

Not exactly answering your question, but if your camber goes out from using the ITR LCAs, I guess you can always address that with a Camber kit.

Thanks guys, very informative. e240 thanks for answering to all my threads.. lol. I really want some coilovers but i dont have the money to do coilovers + brakes and brakes come first so i thought ITR suspension should give me pretty competent handling and all for very little money. Id love some zeal function xs or some toda fightex or buddy club or something though..

Does anybody have any idea as to what height (even an educated guess would do) ITR shocks and springs would make an ED9 sit????

Thanks for that mate, its good to see something rather than have to imagine it. Ef to dc looks reasonably similar i think. Oh well im going get these brakes done then give it a 10hr detail over next sunday monday and a service early next week then i will get some suspension on the way.

Well the itr suspension sold to somebody else so im doing the brakes first - already ordered dba slotted, getting some EBC green stuff or some Endless for the pads, Full braided lines and some castrol srf brake fluid. Will do the suspension soon though and will let everyone know how it goes..
