hey guys i got a vafc II (second hand) and i was wondering if it is possible to have all the previous settings reset to defaults as it came from a DC5R and just use the unit as a meter until i decide to get it tuned?

i can have it wired up but just want to use it as a meter for the mean time?

Download the VAFC-II manual here:
http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfInstallation/25.pdf

There is a factory reset function (INTIALIZE) in one of the menus, but I'd still check the correction values, etc to make sure they are zeroed / neutral position.

Yes you can, make sure that the vtc and tdc isnt wired in as they are only used for i-vtec engines.

make sure the settings are 0% throughout the tables, u dont need to worry about changing breakpoints this way.

yeah you can, you can see engine rpm, throttle position, intake pressure (in the gauge view)..
as well as air correction, vti, vto and battery voltage (in the analog view)
