Factory Options include:

6 speaker system + CD player
Sunroof
Leather seats (was optional )
CF / Woodgrain Inserts...

I look for one with a regular service history, low kms... i have a tipronic gear box and have no problems... depends how its looked after etc i know sum1 who had one and has reached 160*kms w/o problems...

And i Dont think you did search...

Providing its been looked after and regularly serviced thats a fair price, for a manual. But if it were tip and you weren't sure about the history, i wouldn't touch it...........

In the US there's a class action law suit against Honda/Acura in regard to the quality/lack thereof of the sport shift/tiptronic/auto transaxles.

However having said that, mine's seven years old and showing no signs of problems. Come to think of it, I've heard of some that have started to act like they might be thinking about giving up the ghost, but have not heard of any actually doing it here.

Even in the US, they recon that the problems had pretty much been fixed by the time 1999 rolled around, so after that you should be right.

If not, then you've got the perfect excuse for a box swap!
