I've been told by my honda mechanic that the 2000+ v6 model is better built.

Ensure, when buying, that you ge the transmission checked out thoroughly as they are problematic on the V6's.

Have a read on v6p.net (www.v6p.net)
I can't recall which year v6s had the transmission problems...but the info should be up there in their forums.

well either way i think both are of a high standard i have owned a yankie one and a thai one, i have to say the thai one is a little better, maybe cause of its updates in NVH nosie thing's, but otherwise both are good buys if they are in good condition.......MAKE SURE you check that the auto box has been serviced by honda using genuin ATF fluid.

the thai ones are definitely better. but yeah watch out for the auto trans as it's a fairly common issue. in fact we're rebuilding a 2000 accord v6 trans in our workshop as i type lol

it's a shame that the trans brings down what is otherwise a very good car

i think that if it was possible to bolt up the newer 5 speed or even the 6 speed manual i think it would be a really gr8 car one that i wouldnt get ride of eva.....

do u think the new 5 speed auto would be a direct bolt on
