hay all, just wondering for those of you that are in NSW, there have been talk that there is going to be a new rule implemented that restricts P platers from having more than 1 passenger after 11pm and until 5am... what i want to no is, are they applying this rule to ALL p1 licence holders? or just those that are obtaining their licences after July, i had a look already on the RTA website, and its a little confusing since it says that the rules only apply for those getting a licence after July, and then like 10 lines down it says these rules influence all current P1 licence holders... any ideas people?

It should be for those getting their licences in July or after,
But even better, giving them a call should clear it up ;)

driver training is needed.. not all this bs with restrictions on passengers curfews and restriction on power..

they are so dumb, pay that little extra.. im sure there's still gonna be heaps of p plater accidents on the roads even if they implement this rule..
bloody bunch of tossers..
haha :)

imo, i thought that an excellent idea was implementing all these rules for those that have recently lost their licence. that was the initial plan, to have the 1 passenger rule, and the other stupid rules for those that had recently received a driving related fine.. that would have been alot better because then the p platers on the road would have been more cautious of their actions which is what really needs to be happening. as oppose to just getting everyone in trouble... and also.. morris iemma (or however u spell it) also said that from july on wards, P platers have to go and prove 2 the RTA that they want to sell their cars before being allowed to put For sale stickers on their cars, because apparently that is a secret code for people who wanna drag? wtf? is this true? lol

great now all the drunk youngens are forced to drive home (y) great idea government.. keep it coming

driver training will fix alot of problems as people will learn the limits of what they can do on a road instead of them finding out on their own + making it cheaper to run at WSID or at a track wouldnt hurt

yeah neva thought about that, how passenger restrictions would affect teenage drinking sessions, every second p plater would be drink driving
ahaha
