what do you use your car for? if just for street driving, then don't buy racing pads. endless is good, project mu as well. Bendix is good but for street, as I can't find their racing pads to fit euro (not listed)

Project Mu B-Spec is a little aggressive for street. And it will go through the rotor pretty quick too.
I have Hawk Ceramics.

If you're getting slotted rotors then try endless as I had bendix advance on my previous car with slotted and cross drilled and they chewed through the pads big time. Endless might be better (I was told once bendix wear quicker than some of the other brands, but that's just hear-say)

Endless or good brand of street pad from Japan.
Try Ferodo pads. They are very good.

If I change brake pad to better one, I think it might not be suitable for standard brake disc because the better pad could make the standard disc to wear quicker. Am I wrong?

Most disc rotors are made from similar types of steel. :)

cat, how deep are the slots on a slotted rotor? The project-u slots are not deep and I wonder if u use high performance pads they will eat the slots on the rotor away.

The wear limit before you have to change rotors is 2mm. So as long as the slots are deeper than 2mm, they will be alright. And usually with slotted rotors, it is the slots that eat the pads first before the pads get to eat the slots. :)

Bennjamin can do it for cheap. Just buy your own pads, PM him about installation and go to his place.

Do you know any weight comparison of stock rotor ? and what sort of rotor criteria should I look into for street use?

Both are made from steel. They should have similar weight as the thickness has to be within OEM specs. The only time a rotor will be much lighter is if you buy a 2-piece. In a 2-piece rotor, the inner hub is made from aluminium,
For street use, just get normal blank rotors. No need for slotted. Slotted rotors will accelerate pad wear. You should get good pads. The stock Euro pads are shit, that's why they leave deposits and cause brake shuddering.
In the case of cross-drilled rotors, these are for street only. Not for track use.

You serious? SSS for $460 a set? How come last time I was quoted $$550 for SSM a set. Do they really much different?

SSM seems to be both adhesive and abrasive, while SSS might be full abrasive.

Great info. thanks
I'm looking for combo project mu pads and rotor at moment. Is there any info you might know about the weight comparison of the project mu rotor compare to stock ? how do you differ one piece and 2 piece rotor ?

If it is the same size, they should be similar to stock.
