Dc5r - how much will you pay? or paid for yours

Ok im after opinions..

Im buying a 2002 TypeR in black 67ks
with 18's (he is going to provide stock enkei rims)
knn filter (stock filter and box as well)
Has the optional sunroof (electrical)
interior in good condition.
body is in good condition

What would you pay for it? or what have you paid for yours?

Championship White is one of the best looking colours to suit the DC5R.

Look at JDM187's car, his CW DC5R has black rims with polished lip.

I beleive red is harder to get for the DC5R, doesnt look too bad.

nop, white is the hardest colour to get as it was a limited edition.

its really up to you really, the interior on black and white dc5's are the same.

you sure bout that? im pretty sure it was a regular colour that could be ordered at any time.

blue and white were my choices for colour but there are *** all CW ones in perth and i found a really clean blue one so went with that.
personal thing but i dont think polished bits look very good on dc5r's of any colour, a nice set of gun metal something tho....:thumbsup:

I bought mine brand new and the dealer never said any thing about the CW being more expensive.

ah i thought that may have been the case, i would say more likely that there weren't huge number sold (in any colour for that matter but less so in CW) and the dealer knowing that rather than it actually being a limited edition

They were bought second hand and are Ganador mirrors.

No CW is not a LE colour. The most likely reason that a CW will be worth more second hand is because it is more sort after which does not equate to cw not being sold in huge numbers previously. Here in melb there are shit loads of CW DC5Rs.

lol, btw my car is silver. the CW one was 2 grand more expensive and had more kays and was older, so i went with the silver one. at first i didnt realy like the silver but now it grew on me so im happy..

i think that black one is too expensive man. i got mine 03' model, silver with falken semislicks and HID head lamps for $28,500. oh and it had 39,000kms...

paid 32k.

in your scenario. the dc5r has devalue sinced our purchase.
so dont pay more then 29k wateva the seller says.

edit: my mate recently bought his silver dc5r for 24.5k, 80k kms. perfect condition with only a intake and lowered on inferior springs.

try to niptick every fault to give the seller the shits to make him lower the price. ie. bald tyres, bigg burns, dents, warn out b. pads. etc.
