OK noob question i know but....

The VEi is a 1.5l or a 1.6l and what is the engine code for the engine.

I've searched and found some conflicting info so any help is appreciated. No hurry, it's not a matter of life and death, i'm just bored

I was sure it was a 1.5 until i saw one with d16z1 stamped on the block, so i thought WTF.

i just had a look in a great big book of everything (aka Lubricant & Tune-up guide 2002ed) and the engine code is a D15z1, not d16
maybe i had a dyslexic moment when i had a look at the engine code b4
