Hey guys!
Need some help here. Is there any difference between the gearbox of a VTi Civic, a Si Civic, an Integra VTi-R and an Integra Type-R?
And usually how much will they cost to get a second hand one?
Any idea?
Thanks ! :)

Teg type R and VTIR are B series engines!
Vti and SI are D series engines!
B series arent compatible with D series,
prices can vary depending on condition.
im pretty sure me and wynode compared gearbox's (VTi & an Si) and they were exactly the same.

Errmmm so that means that a B series gearbox is better compared to the D series? Much more stronger?
In any case, if i were to swap a B series motor in, i need a B series gearbox of any type either a teg or a civic?
So that means that I cant use back the D series gearbox huh?
oh shit, more money! :(

yeah but the lower spec model's have box's/different gearing!

hey i jus fcuked the bearing in my gearbox, now it makes a crunching noise every time my car is moves/ is on... i went out n bought a secound hand vtec box to put it in my cxi, are the ratios differnet..??? i payed $400 for it,, is that a good price?
400 is a bit expensive, but its what to be expected when bought from a wreaker (sohgc vtec engines+box's have gone for ~600 on the forum).
Needless to say, i think u will be the best judge (different between box's), but i rekon u will notice the better gear ratios!
