Hey,

I have a 2001 Honda Civic sedan which I am contemplating on converting to 5 stud.

I had a bit of a search on here and found that some models can take other brake setups off other models. Can anyone confirm this?

And as for price for the parts, can anyone shed some light on that.

Thanks in advance.

its been covered before most will just say its too pricey just go find a wheel with your stud pattern..
if u dont want to do that i think conversions set u back about ~$1500 not including labour could be cheaper.. (dont quote me on that lol guessin from what ive seen for a ctr one.). as for the compatiblity with other models im not too sure but with a 96-00 civic ud use ctr 5 stud conversion...
hope that helps.

why do you want to convert to 5 stud ?
Looks ? Wheel useage ? Larger brakes ?

Thanks for the info.

Honestly? Wheels. I found wheels I am more than keen on which are made for the Accord Euro.

Has anyone done a conversion like this before? I remember the previous owner of my friends old Civic had it done. This may rekindle some old memories;

I really do want the job carried out. Let's hope this is just a phase until I find better rims which AREN'T chrome in anyway.

im sure you can buy even better wheels cheaper than the price of the converison.

my thought and point exactly :)

People tend to upgrade to 5 stud to use the larger brakes ( 282mmetc) and not for the wheel selection.
Most HONDA rims come in 4x100 and 5x114.3 - in similar design.
Also most aftermarket rims come in a variety of sizes too...just research abit more and im sure you will find your rims you want :)

Just found another cosmetic mod to spend money on *slaps self*.

Money better spent elsewhere? Perhaps...perhaps not.

I still want these wheels though. I might drop into a tyre/wheel place and show them a photo and see if they can pair me up with replicas.

Thanks all :)
