help tall driver mods

hey,

i have a bit of a problem, ima bit on the tall side and would like either a crx delsol or an integra vtir for my next car and just want to know if anyone has some mods quick or long that can give me some ideas dont get me wrong i can fit in both cars but just not as comfortably as i would like, so some advice would be appreciated

Look at getting super-low seat rails. It drops your height a few cm's.

Im 191cm tall and i fit in my dc2 fine, even Luke (yourfarther) is i think taller than me and he also drives a dc2, duno bout him but im comfortable :thumbsup:

edit: as bennjamin has stated attach your seats to superlow seat railsand that shud give you a few more cms

not really much more you can do, besides choose a different car that accomodates your needs

IMO the superlow rails would help heaps

I found that using a dished steering or a boss kit spacer allows you to have the seat all the way back and still have good reach to the steering wheel.
It lets your legs sit a bit flatter and not so cramped.
It made a big difference in comfort for me so it may be worth looking into...

man im 190cm and i fit into my da9 no probs with the seat only 1/2 way back. You must be masive!

im 6"3 and i fit in my DC4 comfortably but yeah im also gonna invest in the superlow rails when i change my seats.

im 6'6 and have no issues with leg or headroom in my VTi-R DC2 compared to any silvias, etc.

If you're after a smaller car, my only real option was the VTi-R cuz im too big for recaros in an ITR.

But yeah, I dont have any real issues with headroom. I guess you could get lower seat rails?

A friend of my Mums years ago bought this car and he had a stuffed knee so he liked to sit pretty much with his legs straight out..

One day he just moved the bolts on the seat backwords so it was sitting further back then normal he was comfy after all that..

I have no idea if you could do the same thing with a Honda but always worth a thought if your looking for ideas...

The seats should go back further in a CRX Del Sol cause theres no rear seats and noone to worry about in the back seat.

Trust me man theres plenty of leg room in the CRX once the seats are moved back.

I'm 6'7 and I used to drive a 180sx without issues, had the opportunity to drive my mates teggies too and wasn't really a problem for me.

6'3" is still really tall..! lol You should be a basketballer or something..! lol

My Dad is 6'1" and my Mum is 5'6" I ended up in between!

My hubby is only 5'11" so he's pretty short for a man but he's the tallest in his family... I just hope my sons get my side of the familys height! lol at least 6" would be good!
