hello guys..

i've just bought a JL audio off a friend for a very good price..

the bad thing is that the Ground terminal ( the screw) is
burnt in place with the actual terminal. which means i cannot unscrew or screw the ground cable on.

does anyone know a place with i can buy a terminal?

or someone that repairs the amp..

here is a picture of what i am referring to..

If just the ground pot need to be change, then it should be a easy job, just solder ot cut the terminal off and solder a new one in. Get those gold plated for more bling bling effect... Acctually there are better as they oxidise slower.

Try checking with wes components, not sure if they have it or not. Else try Jaycar.

Sure you can send it in to get fixed, but an easier solution is to use a tap and dye set. Simply use a small drill and drill thru the screw (or at least a bit into it) then use the bits from the tap and dye set to strip the screw out. Then simply use a new screw :-)
