hi all,
I’m having radiator problems with My 5th gen prelude, at the moment water is leaking from below, im just hoping it’s a simple pipe leakage, I don’t exactly know whats caused it, are there any simple ways to check.

There isnt any public transport to work so I have to drive 1.5 hours to work everyday, what damage will this do to my car.
i have to wait till the end of the week to take it to a mechanic, so painful driving, feel sorry for my car.

thanks in advance

if u think its a pipe from the bottom then jack ur car up and see where its comin from..

make sure u keep filling it up..and watch ur temp gauge

a leaking pipe would be minor, if its the radiator, what would be the price range of fixing it,

if it's minor, there can be a few cases.
cracked radiator.
loose hose/clamp
drain plug oring, if the hose had a slit/hole, you'd know about it, and wouldn't be able to drive your car at all really.

how big is the leaking? how soon is the water empty? if it's soon, better not drive your car to work, but to the mechanic or workshop immediately.. it's danger enough if hot and if you still drive your car, it'll blown your engine.. lolz..

try to find the leaking first, hopefully is on the pipe.. try to look whole pipe, is there any section which old and with bad steel.. if the leaking on radiator exactly.. better to change them all.. :D

just imo, i've been experience this long time ago :D and it's painful!

the heat level is just in the middle, so that is a relief
atm im carrying 3 bottles of water in my car,
and contantly refilling,
the leaking isn't too big, able drive to work if i refill everyime i drive.

thanks guys for the quick replies, much appricated
