He doesn't mention RWC.... make sure it has one before buying, otherwise you might find this private import giving you a headache.

Looks okay. The VIN identifies it as a personal import, plus it has the yellow tamperproof sticker in the engine bay which also supports this. But anyone interested, should insist on asking for the personal import papers provided to them as a condition of sale. You can also call up DOTARS to confirm the scheme it was imported under.

That review he has a link to is interesting hey. 1.4turns lock to lock at slow speed thats amazing really. For the money he's asking though you could get yourself an aussie model one which you'll have no headaches with, albeit without vgs. Nice car but an import will always be more hassle than an aus model..

saw this car in topone once condition is very good interier just like new, gear goes very smooth as well....... and vgs actually offer very good handling, i think it got hks exhust on it as well, only one thing make the car not perfect imo is they roll the garud not really nice.

VGS doesn't improve handling. All it does is alter the steering ratio. For those who are not used to it, you'll probably dislike it.

the top foto is a stock engine bay

looking at it now. maybe the white 1 on ebay hasnt had a wiretuck (wiretuck is where they put the wires under or around the engine so that you cant see the wires in the engine bay)

but definately a fair bit of stuff has been removed from the white s2000

i just get a feeling it was more than just a daily use car when it was in japan

at $48k, hardly a good price, considering it has no log book, and imported...
