hey

just wondering has anyone used those additives such as "Stop Smoke" etc. they say it seals minor leaks and etc.

don't know if its worth it and does it actually work? any harm to the engine?

These sort of things tend to have minimal sort of effect. They'll only help out the smallest of leaks if at all. If something is leaking just replace it or get it fixed, dont arse around about it.

Do some reading, you'll find prolonged usage of these additives tend to cause problems long term.

You are still better off replacing the affected seal.

no dont do it...
it leaves a teflon (something similar) coating on all ur engine parts which isnt good... especially if u want to do internal engine work later down the track...

i used injector cleaner too before..
but i dont think u need it if ur using like bp ultimate or vortex...

injector cleaner in my books, is just like using octane booster. lol.
if you wanna clean em, take em out, and send them away.

lol, i hope u dont think that stuff is nos! Its just an octane booster, completly usless unless 98 octane fuel just isnt enough for your tune....
