Suspension On my crx Can u guess what it is

Ok i am putting up some pics of my suspension on my car now they previous guy said that there are coilover on it.

But the shicks are stuffed.

Can i change the shocks without changing anything else like the springs and that other part.

I have coil overs and they are crap to drive on can you change the suspension on these or will i have a hard ride on the road, any help would be appreciated

from the pics they look like coilover sleeves on stock shocks

plus you can see a screw in the sleeve thread. (inbetween the springs) :D

if they are coilover sleeves you can just replace the shocks if you want to.

the main reason why you have such a bouncey/harsh ride is because your shocks
arent designed to be that low.(and are prolly blown)
to make this better get aftermarket adjustable rate shocks eg koni, kyb etc etc
or if that is too much just get shortened/lowered shock for your car

look a bit like koni yellows. have you got some photos of the top of the shocks(the bits pointing into the engine bay)

it says koni on the shocks i am glad that you can change themas i realy want a smoother ride.

How much am i looking at for the shocks and to be installed has anyone ever had this done to there car b4 and did you experience any problems??

if they are koni yellows then you should be able to adjust them
on the strut top to different damper setting eg soft/hard.
thats if there still ok.
