i have bought a Jazz VTI-s with Factory Wheels & the seller have a set of P1 Wheels in the boot have been told was put on the jazz in steal of Factory Wheels, because of selling car so that he put the factory wheel on the car & put the P1 wheels in the boot, and finally i pay a extra $ for the P1 wheels

Now i try to replace the factory wheel with the P1 but i found that the wheels is too tight (touch the break holder/Caliper), & i see there is some damage of the wheel because of the break holder.

I have no idea how the previous owner put the P1 wheels on the jazz,
should i buy a wheels spacer for the P1 as i guess that sure be illegal

What should i do????????
Please help.
Thx

i'm guess they're the wrong offset for the car.

might only need very thin spacer ....

or shave the calipers to clear the wheels.. ...

find the previous owner and hassle the kunt ;)

i don't think that's offset problem
if there is wrong offset sure be is the tyre touching the front inner fender while turning the car

If the wheels are touching the caliper then it is the wrong offset, period!

yeah

wrong offset can mean too far in or too far out, in this case, IN.

relax... calm down lol... u can put a spacer on it. if your spacer is too thick and not enought thread engage to lock, buy longer STUDS (sometimes they call it bolt wheels) and replace your original studs. shave the callipers ... hmm.. not recommended. also dunno it ifs possible or not for jazz, so far i know the answer is "no" hehehe. just imo :D no offence

come to think of it. in another perspective this good for u in somehow. when u addspacer ur wheels face out more... thats mean you have less understeer problem LOL . is that what they call ? "understeer" ? lol i'm a noob lol

maybe the guy who previous owner who got this p1 racing wheels the offset is based on GD1, which is 1.3 jazz. not for GD3. GD3 = 1.5

i asked the previous owner he used a 5mm spacer with the P1 wheels & the spacer and moreover he has given me the spacer included in the cusco dampers box in a plastic bag, i have even check out the box because i thought there is a factory suspension inside.

i finally put the P1 wheels on with spacers, because the white P1 wheels really look great with my Jazz in the color of black,
i know that illegal & risk, but.............

ive had problems with p1's before too, they were scraping the front caliper so i tried some 5mm spacers. Only problem with the spacers is you hardly get any room left for the nuts to go on tightly, if i remember correctly the nuts only turned 4 times before they were tight. Compared to stock wheels which the nut turned about 7.5 times.

if i were you i would sell the wheels, i wouldnt compromise better looks for better safety, just my opinion anyways

and u might even snap your studs cos ur spacer is probably non hub centric.

No Definitely not +35 offset... It will rub againts your inner guard and your side...

+40 or +42 is the perfect offset for Jazz...

I've been through with so many rims think the new one is my 4th sets of rims... which is +38 offset, it look tough but you will need to roll the guards on rear...

But with +40 or +42 you don neet to.. also depending on how big and the width of the wheels too...

My first 16x7inch was +42 offset - no scrubbing issuses car was lowered by Kings and compressed to the lowest point you can get down to...
Second was 17x7.5 deepdished with +38offset? with this I couldnt full lock the front and scrub at rear when I had passenger...
Third 16x7 and +40 offset - only scrubs when I have 4/5 people in rear...When run into a speedhump or pot hole
Fourth 16x7 with +38 offset - will need to cut the side of the inner bumper to prevent from scrubbing when I have 4 people inside...When run into a speedhump or pot hole

Cool, I think I will stick to a 16 x 7 +42 4 x 114.3 offset then, will a 205 tyre fit on it?
