so i decided to find out whats the go with my abs, i've come up with the codes; 12, 14, 16, 18, 54, 61

12 Short circuit in right hand front wheel speed sensor
14 Short circuit in left hand front wheel speed sensor
16 Short circuit right hand rear wheel speed sensor
18 Short circuit left hand rear wheel speed sensor
54 Inoperative relay
61 Low supply voltage

now i assume i have to replace the relay(not sure where this is located?) and sort out the low supply voltage trouble(would be handy to have some help on this too) before i look into the short circuits on the speed sensors

anyone able to help me out?

oh and fyi, em1 diagnostic plug is located under the glove box next to the centre console not the kick panel. big blue plug with 2 blue connectors(one with 3 wires, one with 2), the 2 wire plug should have a brown and black wire stickin' out of it

itrs weird that you have a fault with all WSS,

try resseting the ecu and road test, then see what codes come up.

you might have a loose orange plug some where that the wss all passthrought,

I have seen when mechanics lower cars they are to rough on the wss cable in the wheel arch and streach it and kill the wss. if you have lowered your car by a dodgey mech, then all 4 could be damaged.

you can do a resistance test on all the wss,

useually when you get the relay code it can be from a previous flat battery

good luck

well i'll give resetting the ecu a go and see where it goes from there

this orange plug, where is it located?

the car is lowered but i bought it like that, i just assumed it was an electrical error
is there a procedure to reset the abs like the srs?

im pretty sure its just put the fues job on the EM1.

the ABS ECU is on the drivers side kick pannel near the hood release. you have to pull the kick pannel out to access it.

just wondering how do i reset the abs' ecu if i can?

i pulled out the backup fuse and the one to the left of it plus unplugged the negative terminal and left it for a few hours and connected it back up
light still seems to be there, will have to check the codes again though

should i just try replacing the relay?
