I have a popping sound coming from my car when i reverse and turn sometimes.

My friend seems to think its CV Joints screwing up.
I think its the sound my new coilovers make as i know that coilovers can make some weird noises.

Can someone pls tell me what the problem is and who is right?

Go to an empty car park and turn left and right in full steering lock, if you hear a click click click that gets faster the faster the car goes, then its most probably your CV joints (the outer joints usually go first). Could also be the wheel bearings.

If you hear the noise when you go over bumps, then its your coilovers or another sussy component.

How exactly does the Car make a 'Poping' Sound?
Surely It'll more like a 'click' or 'tap' sound....Correct me if I'm wrong.

1 of ur wheel bearings it shot, i left mine and it got to the point that when i did get it checked out he refused to give me the car back untill i got it fixed coz it was unsafe to drive on.

however if its the front wheel u may need a hub too, i think its coz of ur steering and that, i dunno

if its the rear its about 150-200 to fix

if its the front its up to 500
