Hid kit ballasts missing !

Hi guys, well actually one of my friend brought me a kit of hid lights. Some non branded from overseas. The problem is the custom didnot allow the ballasts of hid in the luggage so he had to leave them behind. :( now i have the set of hid kit except the 2 ballasts. Now can i buy those two ballasts seperately, r they universal type. what i have to do now ?

no, u can't use just another random pair of ballasts as they might have different type of connectors between the ballasts and the bulbs...

the best bet that u can do is buy a new set of HID kit and use it, and keep the current bulbs as spares...if any of the bulb is blown, then u can use the spares, u just have to rewire the old connector to the blown bulb's connectors...
