Guys i really want to fix this cause the sound sounds weird.
Any way i noticed that the left hand side speakers there are no sound at ALL. None from the speaker on the door or at the boot. No head unit has been installed and nothing has been touched. So i am guessing that it should be a wire prob. And since its the front and back.....
Should be one of the wire next to the head unit or some such?

Any fixes for this?

if its front and back gone at the same time, there's a slight chance that the circuit in the headunit itself is stuffed.. but just check the wiring at the headunit first, see if there's anything loose..

No head unit has been installed and nothing has been touched.

So the system is factory yeah? If so, I agree with D4rk4n63l. It would be unusual for both speaker or both sets of wires to die at the same time. I would be looking to the head unit. It's internal amplifier might have issues.:(

Well i will be tryin to install an after market head unit today and will tell u the results. Since the after market is brand new it should tell me if there is a wire that is stuffed or that its the head unit prob.
Could the connecting pins to the head unit be faulty

head unit replaced still same problem. I think it may be the wires, dam it. How do i know its the wires that are faulty and not some of the harness that is loose or such

might be stoopid but are you sure that fade is not set all the way to the right?

since he replaced the headunit, I doubt that the fader is set to the right.

I think you need to check (trace) the wiring to find the fault. And who installed the new unit? are u sure the wirings are correct?

yea the wirings are correct. As in there was no wires cut at all, just bought wiring harness, thus plug n play really. If have to trace the wires how do i know which one

maybe the pins on the old harness is stuffed... but if you want to trace the wires, check the colors of each speaker wires and check the continuity of each wire.. easiest way is to cut the wires, and use 1.5v battery to 'pop' the speakers. But if you have a multitester with a very long lead, that would help too

the whole point i bought a harness is so that i dun have to cut wires. Is there another way?? cause i don't trust myself re-attaching the wires
