Hello Everyone,

2006 Civic VTI (Auto)

Im experiencing an unsual very light vibration together with a sound at low rpm
( approx 1500rpm-2300rpm)?? (Brrrrtttt)

The sound and light vibration was more obvious today in the morning..it was chilly today morning. 17deg outside temp.

Once u hit 2500rom...no sound is heard or vibration felt.Car seems to performe as it should be, no jerks.Something to note..on an incline(garage) while backing out the car,the car does go down.it needs a bit of accelaration.
Comparing to my previous Hyundai Accent, car doesnt go down..it stays idle on R after putting down the handbrakes. Any Comments?

Car has done 1900kms to date..have not push it more than 4000rpm as yet.
1000km service done...but forgot to mention this doubt during service.

It's the engine running with 1 valve almost closed. Happens at low load and low to middle RPM.

It does have 2 good benefits. Better fuel consumption and more torque at low RPM.

Some people suggests it's the belt vibrating.

If in doubt, can always get the dealer to check it.

i got exactly the same problem as well.....went to ask the dealer...and their response...you are just understeering the car....give it more acceleration and it will go away....lol
