Will a EG GL trans fit a 89 prelude?

I have a mate who owns a 1989 prelude (b20a/b i think is the engine code).
He needs a new trans for his car and i have a spare D15B4 engine/trans sitting at home that i can supply him. Im just wondering if the trans off my EG GL would work with the prelude??

Im not sure if its possible or not though.

Not a chance in hell :)

He has a B20A which is really unlike any other B series motor that Honda makes

As above -

no it wont fit.

As a general rule

D series = d series
B series = b series...with this being a different "b"series all together.
