The federal 595RS is supposed to rated like a semi slick - ie it will wear quicker, but no haven't used them before. Better to stick to a performance street tyre.

yea its a semi slick nontheless..bt with very affordable price...
as usual wet weather handling for semi slick sux but its brilliant on the dry :thumbsup:

Yes agreed, but I guess it depends on what your after...more mileage and a bit of both wet/dry performance on the street. I've got some 2nd hand semis stashed in the garage for the track, but I wouldn't use them on the street...
Although if your running heaps of power in your car then perhaps.
Up in Sydney it's been raining heaps so glad I stick to performance street tyre.

Federal 595rs aint that cheap. they are about 250-300 a corner last time i got quoted.
im getting Federal ss959 today for trade (unicorn) price. very cheap
see how they go
apparantly the compound of the federal is still quite hard compared to other semis like a048's etc.
