Hi guys,

I got a Kakimoto exhaust that came with the car when I bought it - it's a DC5R. It was freakin loud and have been done by the EPA, so I took it off and running it with stock exhaust now. However, the exhaust place that took it off for me said they could try and make it a little quieter by adding another resonator and doing some tweaking. I'd like to keep the Kakimoto on as the stock exhaust is too restrictive.

What do you guys think in terms of:

1. Kakimoto exhaust (not sure of the exact model). Does anybody know if they're any good performance wise?

2. Would customising yeild any good results with balance between power and noise factor?

Just get the exhaust place to modify the current exhaust you have...
They can make it quieter without loosing much power at all... maybe a 1kw or two

yeah you wont lose power by adding a resonator and they make a fair difference in volume
