you're supposed to wear it in for the first 1000km. i could be wrong with the exact ammount of km, but its arround that much.

sorry to mention.. clutch is 8000 kms old.. just started happening
dont quote me on this im just thinking from my experience.
i think its cos the way you drive. when the car is all warmed up and its easier for you to drive the car. i find it its easier for smoother shifts after awhile once the clutch is warmed up.
i get the same problem (same clutch) but i tend to rev just alil higher on first engagement in the morning and hold the clutch just a little bit longer.

yeah that works.. but its only the damn first engagement...
whats the cause of this... sometimes i wonder if my flywheels bolts have snapped hahaah

Still wouldn't explain the feeling through the pedal.
Could be build up of something on the friction plate?
u running lightweight fly?

OEM oem
think its normal nothing to worry about. you got a near new clutch thats bites alot harder than oem. just add some rev to reduce the extra friction its making due to the tighter bite. think i read somewhere, colder clutch bites harder than when their warm/hot.

the whole car but you can't feel anything in the pedal???
And it goes away once warm???
i think he meant its like when you dont add enough gas and you engage the clutch. the car just shudders

flywheel probably wasnt resurfaced/properly , or your "wear in" wasnt considerable....lots of bunny hops or pulling seconds eh ?

Mine does this aswell in the early morning starts, afterwards its better. So i do what EK4R does, just give it more gas and ride it abit more.
Have the same clutch aswell but with a spoon flywheel.

same clutch, happens to me too,
its probably just the friction material
they sacrificed a little bit of cold clutch smoothness for temperature resistance maybe
its shudders a little bit every cold start

Same clutch as me... it's always shuddered when cold.

that sounds like a descent explination.

yeah got the same prob also, its even worse in reverse in the morning, end up having to ride it and it smell.
My prob is that i have to reverse up a driveway in the morning. And yes after abit it seems to be fine. I had my flywheel machined also, i got an ITR flywheel.
Yeah i think its like high performance brake pads, need abit of heat to grip properly
