Hi all
I just bought a black s2000 after selling my s15,

I was wondering does any one have any suggestions on how to get more power out of the motor ?

Poeple have told me aftermarket exhuasts actually make u lose KW ?

Waht about V-TEC controllers has ne one got one ?

I've also heard sumthin bout changing ur final drive gear or sumthin along those lines ?

If u have any ideas or recommendations please let me know?

Thanks Guys

the stock S2000 is already highly strung

changing final gears will improve acceleration. but will also minimise top speed and acceleration in the higher gears.

VTEC controllers can alter the activation point of VTEC. but if you get vtec kicking in early, then you will only be losing torque at top end.

best would be to turbo it.

most bolt on mods will only decrease power, such as intake, exhaust etc

what the hell is that, s2k with s2 r33 headlights, pretty shocking chop there. if you were to do hybrid conversions, im gonna say go for a 2JZ, rb25 dont have sh*t on the 2JZ's they have strong bottom ends, 350rwkw on stock bottom end no dramas..

its been done in the states. cant remember exactly where I saw it.

you guys are fools!!!
you wont lose power if you put the good bolt on stuff on. toda extractors!
i would suggest firstly coilovers & good tires, that if you are going to mod it. then maby new clutch with lightweight fly.

LOL at turbo we talking handling here otherwise he would still be driving the s15. i would keep it n/a and go to a toda 2.2 stroker kit!!!!

enjoy the car. dont be so quick to get back into turbo. vtecs wonderful but not for everyone.
