I was under the impression that the Sun Roof had an Auto Open & Auto Close.

I have to hold my finger in the entire time to open or close the Sunroof.

In the 03-05 Lux was this the same ?

Yeah... I don't think there's an Auto Open/Close feature.

Same goes for the tilting too I think...?

I'm thinking of this before too.. but in BMW, Lexus, and quite much other, they got automatic open or close sunroof.. i wonder too how come euro doesn't have it..

Could be a cost issue as well? I don't know...but it all adds up in the end.

The other feature which could have been useful to have is the Auto Close (with overide) function. I have this in my civic and one button toggles the overide on/off so the sunroof doesn't/does close when the ignition is switched off.

Go to http://www.kptechnologies.com/

They have new One-touch sunroof modules (for recent Honda/Acura models) you can order from the US and install yourself (or get an auto-electrician to install it for you).

They also have other nifty modules, such as an auto wind up window module controlled from your stock honda remote

It'd be for cost saving reasons i'll bet. It'd be a handy feature to have but i can live without it.

i agree with EuroDude. the KP module is probably best bang for buck, but it was something that i didnt think was too much of a hassle. i mean, even if u hold the sunroof button down. ur prob only holding it down for aobut 7-8 seconds max.

I've got the KP module for the remote window up (Instead of inserting key into driver's door), works very well. Was about $90 inc shipping to Oz. The Sunroof module looked like a waste of money, I probably would have purchased it if it remotely closed it like the windows.

I originally saw this mod on youtube with an Acura TSX.
