EK4 Hatchback Front and Rear Bar

Hey guys, i'm wondering if any Aus delivered EK4 (96-98) Hatches come with front and rear bars that don't have the plastic mold protectors?

I'm looking for front and rear bars like the type-r ones without the skirts.

No they didn't.

You will need 99-00 Ek Hatch rear bar, and 96-98 Civic Coupe front bar.

I to was also interested in the front and rear bar. I haven't had much luck finding places that sell them though (i'm in Syd). I'm guessing the wreckers would be one place to start out.... anyone else here had much luck with this?

ok, so the 99-00 rear bar is an exact fit?

I might have to ask on of our OZH imports to see if they can import the ek9 type-r front and rear bars :(

Aus deilivered EK4's all came with moulds..
if you're talking about the moulds (black strip) on the bars..

you can buy an EJ8 front bar.. will fit onto your car i think its like 96-98 model civic coupe.. the non vtec one? well the EJ8!

as for the rear bar you can buy the EK 99-00

both have no moulds.. and get them sprayed obviously..

for rear bar search 1. honda 2. civic 3. 1999-00 ek hatch ser2

and so on..

either wait for a CTR wreck or EJ8 front and a hatch rear from the facelifted models. took me ages to find the parts but sure is worth the wait.

and once you do find it, ur EK will be a one off unique piece of machinary :)
