Just had 60,000km service done on Euro noticed brake shuddering from 100km/ph mentioned it on the service desk in the morning among other minor things basically they machined the rotors and replaced the pads they claimed the brake pad’s I had caused heats spots on the rotors made them easier to warp.
The new pads have had this issues resolved never heard of this happening before on a Euro but I was happy to have it done under warranty just a head 's up if anyone may have this issue.

Yeah i heard that from 06 model onwards that this issue with the pads leaving deposits on the rotors has been resolved.Ive got an 06 and i changed the ft pads anyway just to be safe.

Yerp, mine also got the same treatment at 30K service. Search for brake deposits in the Euro forum and theres a huge thrad about it.

Haha, almost everyone had this issue if they stopped at the lights while holding the brake pedal down firmly. To fix it, you can brake hard from 100 down to 20 and then drive around to cool down. That would remove the old deposits on the rotor.

Easier to replace them with good aftermarket pad than having to put up with that!!

the 03-05 pads, had defects.
now when honda replaces pads, they use the 06 pads, which fit on the 03-05

WTF
i went to dealership and argued with them for 2 hours and they WILL NOT do anything to the stock brakes or brakepads under warranty

they said that it is a common problem in all hondas but it IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

how did you manage to pull this off?

I just told them at my 30K service the wheel shakes whilst braking and I suspect it's either warped rotors or dodgy pads. When I picked it up they said we've machines your rotors and replaced your pads with 06 spec under wty, no questions asked as it's a common problem.

Which dealership is that?? So lousy?

New pads at 60K... Cool, save you from changing the pads....but how you manage to make a brake pads last you for 60k? Or you had them change before?

Warick farm was the servicing place the front brakes still had meat left on the pads they reported 70% worn its the 1st brake pad change on the car I've always been mindful on being smooth on the brakes, glazed brake disc's are a dodgy look on car :)

the dealership told me that after 20000km my car still had 80% brakes and therefore i wasn't braking hard enough

wtf, they are literally telling me to drive more irresponsibly in order to fix a problem with their stock components!!

am i able to do warranty repairs/replacements at a dealership where i DIDN't get my car?

I had this same issue a couple of times.
The first time round they machined the disc and put on a new set of brake pads. The next time around they replaced my discs and my pads again.
