the teeth on the flywheel span off the actual fly whats with that, any suggestions?????:eek:

It broke so maybe one piece is the wheel and the other piece is the teeth? :shrugs: lol

yeah like the teeths are like on a ring sort of thing, its likee it span off the fly

the the previous owner said that it is a stock fly so i dont really know

some aftermarket flywheels are 2 piece ( usually alloy ones , the face is replaceable rather than maching it, once the clutch is replaced)
Its possible the outer ring to snap off maybe ?

The ring gear is a seperate part of the flywheel. You heat them up and lightly tap them on with a hammer. your one is probably stretched, get someone to put it on and put 4 spot welds to hold it in.

totally - especially on a piece of the running gearbox that sits on several thousand RPMs. Once a flywheel shatters it sends bits thru the car and into your body !

well thats what i do on my rotarys and they see more than 7g and iv never had a problem. I guess you just answered your question if you dont do that. New ring gear....
