Already booked the 1000km service for my new Euro.

I wanted to get some feedback on people who have installed the Honda light protectors as I ordered them to be installed when I get the 1000km service.

Also! Splashed out and getting the the Honda Sports Pedal Kit anyone else on here has it ?

I got the headlight protectors... It's good to have it if you want to save a few hundred bucks from buying new headlights from Honda if it gets stone damaged..

As for the bonnet protector.. I find it useless, I have it and I still copped stone chips on the bonnet :D

Unlike glass polycarb plastic is very strong so breaking the headlight from a stone would be difficult. Scratches will still occur though.

Well there you go - I have never read of anyone with the Euro or TSX with a smashed light from a stone. Never in 3 and a half years! The fog lights are problematic because they are glass - but the headlights are not. How often have you seen this at your dealership?

Ive got some "stick on"film from Polaris. It covers bonnet, headlights, fogs and mirrors. Those plastic protectors(bonnet and headlight) from Honda are ugly.when you wash your car they get watermarks also you get leaves stuck in the bonnet protector.:thumbdwn:

I second tony1234's clear film. It looks invisible except for where the film ends.

aaron you are the detailing expert - can you detail the car with a machine given the film on the bonnet?

Yes you can. With a random orbital, you can go over the film. With a rotary, you tape up the edge of the film with 3M painter's masking tape.

You can get the MT ones imported from Honda Japan. I remember someone in Sydney ordering them in through ISmotor and it cost $300 installed.

Now that the Euro Ltd Edition has the sports pedals on the 6MT, I wonder whether it's possible to have the dealer install these on a non-Ltd Edition???? Surely they must now be available in Australia as a spare part?

I have a car bra, its not that bad, makes the car look pretty mean actually and has saved me from a hell of a lot of stonechips. Just colour match the carbra to your car. Mine is black and so is the car so it was an easy match. I got mine from Carbra Australia, they have a huge selection of colours .

No offence, but I just find carbras so ugly -- but if I lived where I was driving regularly on dirt roads or racking up hundreds of km a week on highways, then I might have a different opinion.

It makes me think of a comment posted by someone a while ago about seat covers: why should I not enjoy the original materials of my car and preserve them for the next owner who might trash it anyway.

The Euro Ltd Ed does not come with sports pedals. They are plain rubber pedals. I saw attachments on Ebay going for about USD100 though.

I know IS motor racing can get them in from Japan for about $300. Otherwise you can get j-garage.com to send them to you for about $250-270

These are the ones that I'm looking at from Ebay. Looks to be the correct ones and install shouldn't be too hard.

Those are NOT Honda original EuroR pedals. They will fit, except for the foot rest. The foot rest is designed for LHD TSX.
