You might want to search "MFR*" or "Main fuel relay", as that could have something to do with your problem.

Yeh sounds like the Main Relay.

Could also be an intermittent Distributor problem, but I doubt it. Dizzy's usually stay faulty when they fail.

yeh i had this problem too recently but seems to be ok now ..but yeh check or replace the main relays ...should be located behind ur stereo ..a small black box.

behind my stereo as in pull it out ? or behind the wiring and the actual carcus?

its not behind your stereo.. its under your steering wheel.. (I THINK its brown in colour)

almost certainly the main fuel relay.. usually harder to start when the car is hot..

you can either resolder the connections or get a new one..

its brown with a reddish slot right? and a scuzzy type wire connected to it ?

damn ..forgot this is a DA9 ...coz 88-91 civic/crx are behind the stereo ...

i have the same problem. it usually happens when its hot, the other day it wasnt starting, i switched the car all the way off, then tried again straight after and worked a treat. :s
