hey guys
noticed this problem last night, insert the key and cannot turn but worked in the 2nd attempt.
drove the car today (insert key and turn on without any problems)
got home and wanted to test my cd player and it wont budge
i've left it for the time being
whats wrong? key is old? or does it need some silicone lubricant or something?
thanks

Yep id say so, try turning the wheel both left and right as you try turn the key.

Sometimes mine does that on one side of the key (it's more worn) and when I turn the key over no problems.

oh yeah by the way
just before that had happened
i was testing my new clublock and then i heard a click of the steering wheel where it was unable to steer when off.
i guess thats the problem
i'll give it a shot ..
let you know whats the result

Yes 95 you don't have an immobiliser in the key, so you can just cut a key from anywhere...

It's 96 up that have the immobiliser in built in the key.
