View Full Version : dc2 antenna
Im looking around for a dc2 and i have come across 2 which have the same problem with the antenna, it makes a huge clicking - clacking noise when its going about half way down, like the teeth are grinding or something.... just wondering how would you go about changing an antenna and how much it would cost
and did anyone else have or has come across someone with the same problem?
also can you DIY change it your self or do u have to get it professionally done
if anyone has done it, post some pics 4 me :)
thanks

well you can get an s2k antenna for around $75 - $100 just browse around
i recommend this antenna as it looks much cleaner
then normal dc2 ones, i got an s2k antenna on my DC2R
looks much cleaner well thats my taste anyways :D
s2k antenna ftw! if u look around theres a few people selling them in their sigs, not sure of zorrt is selling them anymore but i got mine off him
a bit OT, but Jamezy can i ask where you got ur orange indicators from ?

Yeah, Mines completely gone... when you switch of the car..
it doesn't even go down..
I've just ordered mine.... from here

oh yeah forgot to say i kinda fixed it ... i sprayed crc and forced it up and down and it - fully extends now and fully goes down but it still makes a little click when it reaches the bottom
anyone have the same problem you can just force it down, but don't break it
