I wanted to start a thread about this ages ago and we have not had much comment since a Mugen grill thread by Mattel in 2005 (see link below)
Firstly if you look at the front of the Euro there is very little protection for the air conditioner condensor that sits in front of the radiator. It is totally exposed. There are a number of cases in the USA where owners of the TSX have piereced the condensor with a stone, lost air con, and faced a repair bill of about $1000 AUD. I wouldn't expect the cost in Australia to be any less than what our friends pay in the USA. We would probably pay more.
And damage by stones or foreign objects will not be covered by warranty if you are in warranty!
So it is definately worth your trouble to fit some mesh to protect the condensor. There is no guarantees that the mesh will provide 100% protection from debris but it is better than nothing.
I purchased 1 metre of "tough screen" - it is used in security doors. It is sold at Bunnings for about $12 a metre or around that. I then removed the bumper and fitted it to cover the entire condensor (even where grill at the top). I made some holes in the mesh with a drill and then fixed the mesh to various points with plastic ties.

Or you can do what Mattell did and buy a mesh from an automotive store.
