Are you running stock ECU now? Apparently stock ECUs cannot run high cc injectors.

I think you mean your base injector correction factor.
In this case, your injector numbers will need to be reduced from 100%
The approx 55%
That said, if the impedance is different or a variety of other factors it won't work right.
You should leave them to be fitted at the dyno before you get the car tuned.
It'll probably save you either a couple of sets of spark plugs or your engine.
Cheers

Locote, each injector brand has a different "lag time", often referred to as dead time. Most manufacturers will give you a specific amount of dwell time that you should use in injector tuning software.

So give me a brand and i might b able to give you a dead time :)

I agree with adrian..

Pornstar is right, Can't believe all you other guys don't know that injectors have lag time which is also called LATENCY, geeeezzzzzzz, makes me wonder

In context, we are talking in relation to the Apexi Power FC...
In that respect, injector dead time or dwell isn't a tuneable function on the hand controller of the Power FC.
So banging on about is is a no brainer really.

Yep whatever you say internet mechanic.

INO for a fact with MY powerFC I had to adjust my latency for the bigger injectors

In the FC-datalogit software which we use, the only function available, capable of affecting this is “Injector lag (mS) vs. Battery voltage”.
This allows variances in the dead time (or latency), adjusted in milliseconds for injectors based only on battery voltage & the peculiarities of the injector used.
In most cases this is fine, though it cannot account for changes in fuel pressure.
Though some injectors do require this setting to be changed, the ability to make changes to this setting is not actually available through the Apexi FC hand controller.
If locote has laptop software available to him, fair comment…
If not, grow up.

Lol, Go into your hand-controller, select settings, then injectors, You should see a list of of Injector's, with 100% next to it. Then next to the 100% is +0.00ms which is your latency/lag time correction.

Hey don't take my word for it, Take the word from a respected engine builder and tuner ---> Toda AU, Or just look below lol in the power FC manual,

Ok, I’ll give you that one. My bad.
It’s been a while since I’ve used a hand controller.
& you’re right the correction you’re talking about will work as an overall trim.
But it won't change it relative to voltage.

In case anyone is wondering why their hand controller looks a little different to the picture below, it's because it's probably from an FD3S RX7

Lol, no drama's, probably shouldn't have rubbed my foot in it like I did,
