Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone has seen any civics with an F20C fitted in them.
Also what kind of mods will be needed to make one fit an EK.
What 1/4 times do you guys think a car like that will do theoretically.

Thanks

hm...it will cost heaps..

putting a RWD engine in a FWD unless u turn the civic into RWD it's virtually impossible.

there is a DC2 with that setup..
i dunno if it's in australia or overseas

yeah major problems, main problem being the engine faces the wrong way :P

It's been done before. I think in aus 2.
not worth the money though, performance is roughly <d16+turbo :P

definately a waste of time, but F20C = D-series with turbo ? man a F20C running on 2 cyl. would whoop a Boosted d-series HAHAHAA

Pics no workie for me?

Wouldn't a 'cheaper' version be to run a B-series engine with modified CRV running gear? At least that solves the engine mounting problems, then all you have to worry about is the rear setup.

seen how tiny the CRV driveshafts are?

A suggestion would be a b20b8 which would fit nice and snug and you could choose from a variety of transmissions.

heard the b20s can't rev as hard/high as the b16 and b20 or f20c

good torque though....

Have seen a teg in the US with a 'modifed' CRV set-up for RWD....no idea on specs or driveshafts or anything like that.

Just thinking it would work out to be a cheaper option than the F20C, but then I'm not sure how well the F20C fits. You may still need to get custom driveshafts etc, which you would also need to do for the CRV conversion.

Either way is going to be on the pricey side.

i would drive that car anyday. but i wouldnt be spending that much money on that seeing as the power would be awesome but that would probably cost $15000 - $20000 for the whole setup.
 for the ride though
