projector lights HID KIT NOT ALLOWED?

i just bought projector headlights for my ek thanx to the help of guys on here :)

it says on the back, hid not allowed???

my audi said that too i ignored it and used hid for 2 years without a problem, is there a reason these guys say this?

hids produce less heat and less power why would it not be allowed?

Because it's not designed for HID's and most likely for Halogen bulbs.
It has nothing to do with heat and power consumption.

Its because you need auto-levelers for "legal" HID headlights

It's not the dimensions, it's the projector themselves that are designed differently to a real projector for HID use.
That is the reason why some people decide to retrofit an OEM projector out of a BMW or Mercedes, it is superior in everyway.

i got HIDs on my Ek with the projectors no dramas. No one even flick their light at me its all good. Plus the HID look fantastic. DO it dude

yeah for sure im gonna do it, didnt think twice about not diong it... had it in my audi with no problems either...

just like these guys opinions first...
