Looking to get a set of coilovers for my 94 Accord CD5 not exactly sure what to get. I want something that is going to improve handling but not sacrifise too much on comfort because it's my daily driver I know that your going to lose a bit of comfort but i don't want something that is stiff as a board. Would love to hear from anyone who has coilovers on their accord or anyone with experience in the matter. Thanks guys.

By the sounds of things Tein SS would probably be the best option for you. Won't go super low but will retain a good ride plus height/damper adjustable. If you want more height adjustability you'll probably have to go with something like the d2 Streets. Koni Yellows/Eibach springs would be a good option if you don't need much height adjustability.

Thanks for the advice. How much lower than the stock height would they go? I've already got lowered springs (2.5inch) would it be able to go lower than that.

Tein SS sound perfect for what you want dude. Hit up Titan Motorsports in the US for a good price, they've sold many sets of Tein's to accord and prelude owners over here with no complaints.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look up Titan Motorsports and get a price.

You should be able to get the height specs off the tein site.

Well...

As many of the guys will know i've got D2 Coilovers on my car right now. No complaint about them wat so ever. As the guys say above Tein SS are good as well. But the D2's allow for adjustment like the Tein Flex. Tein SS are actualy made in Taiwan same with the D2's. Some ppl will say go for the Tein's SS. My main reason why i didn't go for it when i was choosing coils was because if i had warranty issues i'd have to send them back to the states as that's where u've purchased them from. Thats if you go through Titan MS. Fulcrum are the distributors for Tein's in Aus but they won't have a bar of you if you've purchased overseas. Both D2's and Tein Are rebuild able in aus. Some will bagg D2's as they are a cheaper alternative, and some might say they are too stiff (New distributors are getting D2 Streets not Track so Softer spring rates) So now its not as stiff as it once was. In the end its up to you.

Over all i'm happy with my D2's, Preforms well and does wat i want it to do. If you want to see how they are. Come to one of our YCD Meets generally at a car wash during the week on the east side. I'd be more than happy for you to feel the ride with my D2's.

Remember in the end its up to you! :D

Oh here's a pic to see my ride height. :D
