Hi and welcome...Nice car. If it's know "run of the mill" D16Y" then why don't you look at turboing your current engine instead of an engine conversion?

not worth it isnt built for turbo
neither are any other honda engines..
yet people have built proven reliable setups for their cars..
if you want bang for buck, go for a turbo kit..
if not, don't do a b16.. atleast go for b18

Yes and there are many of them running around these days STOCK with a nice turbo setup and the owner's are very happy as you will make a safe 120-140kw at the wheels all day everyday with the correct setup.

i do not like turbos im into naturaly aspired cars. it cost more to turbo it then to do the conversion and the place im getting the conversion done at said its not worth putting a turbo onto a d16y and that i want to put turbo i should get a b16y and turbo it.

As what Ricer said. Got a b16a conversion for $4500 drive in and out. Or $5k with brake upgrade drive in and out (rear disc, booster/master cylinder). 3-4 day turnover time.
Pm me for more info on what you get.
As for $7600 for a b18c, sorry but thats a rip off. Gearbox needs reconditioning? why does it need to be recond? did previous owner ***ed the gearbox or something? Take all this into consideration when choosing to do conversion.

AHaha.. if u know what you are doing then you can really save alot of money, especially not spending more than 10k for an ITR set-up

7600 is too steep for an normal jdm b18c conversion. Pm fatboyz39, he can set up up for a better deal and set-up.
All those things mentioned are usually included in a conversion. Dont get fool and think all these extra's are a bonus and think you are gettin a good deal, especially a re-conditioned gearbox. Honda g/b are very strong and reliable, they dont break easily compared to other jap g/b. So if its getting reconditioned you gotta question what kind of life it had previously easily the synchro's.
PM me if u need more information before deciding on doing a conversion
whoosh!
