you could try adjusting the clutch and see how that goes but I still think the clutch is worn and requires replacement soon.

you cant adjust a hydraulic clutch essentially - only adjust the clutch pickup point via the pedal adjustment.

You CAN bleed the clutch line and see if that helps - air bubbles in the line will give strange symptoms of clutch pedal.
Otherwise time for new clutch x 233

so it has to be a new clutch, does any1 know how much a new standard clutch is?? or how much a heavy duty clutch is??

off memory your looking at around $500 plus a couple hours labour on top of that so around $700 for a stock vti-r clutch. Thats around about what it cost me on my vti-r about a year ago from honda. You can prob call up a specialist clutch place and they might be able to do a better price.

about $300ish give or take for exedy clutch kit
and about $300 for them to change over.

check your clutch fluid and clutch master cylinder to see if
there losing fluid, might just be the master cylinder seals gone, and that
is why its hard for you to change gears (clutch not engaging/dis etc etc)
and you might only have to replace it.

new master cylinder from honda is only about $70ish

yeh the clutch master cylinder is leaking, but it has got much worse now, i took it to honda they said that the it was the clutch master cylinder, i took it to another mechanic he said he was guna bleed the clutch so see if there is air in it or something, but now i took the car home and the clutch does not work, the car is stuck in first gear and will not come out, even if i start the car with the clutch in it stalls? can any1 help

i fixed the problem, i bleeded the clutch and changed the master clutch cylinder, but that wasnt the problem, my pressure plate had 2 peices of metal in between the clutch and the pressure plate, i think the pressure plate was broken, but i got no idea how or were the peices of metal are from.

Id say from the pressure plate diaphragm.
the pressure place acts as a spring between the gearbox and engine ~ the pressure plate has many triangular shaped metal prongs with the release bearing slides down when you push the clutch in. Obviously these broke and gave you the symptoms

yeh i saw the pressure plate and the metal pecies were on the triangular shape prongs but they looked fine, could the metal peices come from something else other than the clutch ?? thats wat worries me

well the clutch plate and the pressure plate are the only things inside the enclosure that would have these " pieces of metal"-

Maybe could be pieces of the gear on the starter motor?

did you try to start it much when i was stuck in gear?

i havnt got piks of the metal peices, but they were to thin peices about 2 cm long 2mm thick, and i only tried to start it once when it was stuck in gear, im hoping your right about how the clutch and the pressure plate are together encloused so it had to be from 1 of them yeh ?? pritty sure from the pressure plate im hope so lol
