hi guys.. just considering to buy a 94-96 VTI-R prelude... did anyone do a replacement from the manual to auto transmission before?

very rare for someone to do so.
but you will need a auto ecu, pedals, transmission harness, console, shift cable/linkage, torque convertor, cluster, transmission mounts, radiator, and lines, and of course the box it self. lol.
probably a bit more things, but they're they main things you will need.

in the end not worth it.
at all, unless you buy a jdm one, which is auto vtir.

sounds like a whole engine conversion on its own.

If it was a b-series engine you'd be in luck because i have all those parts.
But I mean, it's possible, just not normally done.

Yeh its a very time consuming process and too much hassle for most people.

It'll be cheaper and much easier just selling ur car and buying an auto.

also, the metal bracket where the mount goes on to, that is welded onto the chassis may also be different.

what year?
the early models had common problems of the transmission failing.
a very common problem.

should be.
go to your honda dealer, supply your vin number, and ask, the history of the car, if it has any problems with it.

Also, not sure if you've seen this thread yet, or if it's suitable for the model you're looking at: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62068
