EG civic turbo 12.9 @ 108? MPH 1.99 6oft

Hi comp power racing was also out there.....best i saw was 12.9?

Joe raced the car for his 2nd time. Best time for the night was 12.59 @ 109.9mph with a 1.86 60'.

Yeah i was out there just watching seen the Type r run, with those mods shouldnt the car be cracking a 13?? how many runs did the car have in total last nite? I did notice is was gettin alot of wheelspin through 1st and 2nd when he ran a 14.3
Was it a traction issue or did the car get a fair run?
Well done to the eg civic doesnt look like much from the outside except for those plates which tell you to watchout.

Sounds about the right sort of time to me. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the map used in the S300 was copied out from an S200 wasn't it?
Maybe it needs some fine tuning when used in S300...

13's with those mods can be achieve. Our tune was from another motor with similar mods. Still need to fine tune with the computer then dial in the suspension.

I havn't seen a stock type R with bolt-on doing 13's as yet.

does your type R crack 13s?

i seen other type r's with similar mods claiming 130kw atw only doing 14.4,14.3?
Perhaps with another tune it will hit the 13s but atm as mentioned it is running the same map that was on the yellow eg civic which previously ran a 13.6.

Ill let you know when im going out, mind you it will be my first time out so my traction may not be the best but im hoping to crack a 13 but being my first time out ill be happy with a really low 14

problem with most on these forums is there are too many ppl sitting behind their keyboards thinking their cars can do xx.xx time down the quarter cause they have blah blah mods but dont even take it down the 1/4

HAHA didnt crack the 13's.... might need a quick fine tune with the help of dynodave to suit the motor... not as elite as my other motor... :p

Good result tho.. 14.1 is pretty quick already... but 13's sounds better :p

well here is an indication for ya...

my ITR motor produced 127kw with bolt-ons and pull a 13.6 @ 101MPH.

Well the 1/4 mile is a very good indication if you acutally got 129kw...

C&V performance tuned the car as for a dyno scan i gotta get my hands on a scanner to show you guys
Thanx for your personal information, cause from going in other cars who do late 13s i know my car is capable of a 13.7-14.0 but after seeing type r s with many mods pulling 14s i got abit worried

It comes down to a power to weight ratio aswell and i think i have the power to run a 13.

It will be good to see another R out there having a go,and we will try to get out there every 2nd week from now on as there seems to be more interest these days than last time I went out there.Looks like we have to tune the R Fatboy might have a look at it on the weekend,and good to catch up with OB again out there.

Its an EG fitted with a turbo B16A setup very nice car and a great owner but you will have to wait for him to come on and give you a rundown on his complete setup,and yes it was running street tires.We where having boost problems all night and once its sorted the car will be back out as the owner is PUMPED up and cant wait to race again.
