Hi all,

Does anyone have poor radio FM reception? This seems to happen very frequently during my drive to work (Eastern Freeway in Melb) to the City. Although tuned and with signal strength intact, you can hear "chapping" and "crackle" occuring frequently. I understand that this may happen with AM stations but seems strange that FM stations are affected. My car is not tinted. Any suggestions to fix it?

Many thanks

Kenbo

had the same problem and honda ended up replacing teh rear windscreen. Before they did that, they replaced some unit up on the left rear passenger side at head height when sitting, replaced the wiring loom from the radio to the aeriel and when all that didnt work replaced the rear windscreen and has been fine ever since.
Hope you get it sorted.
Cheers
Clay

Mine's actually doing the same thing in various parts of Melbourne too. For the most part it's fine but it does happen every now and again.

I assume if the car is out of warranty then it would cost to get this fixed now?

I think if the booster spoilt and you buy the part from honda it would cost a bomb, I know there are plenty of aftermarket booster, but not sure how much it cost, cause never needed one before.
