Hi guys...

noob questions about BOV:
1. will I be able to fit this on N/A car (e.g. my 2006 Civic)?
2. if yes, then will it sound weird?
3. will it works with auto car?

Thanks

First you need to know what a blow of valve is, so read this:
http://www.gofastbits.com/index.php?parentid=tech_info&option=tech_info

Then you will understand why you get laughed at if you were to ask this question to turbo guys :).

1. - YES you can fit it on your car.
2. - dont know, possibly very very quite.
3. - Not as good as a manual as you can rev higher on a manual car to produce more pressure/vacume.

Honestly - to beable to use a BOV you need high pressure in your intake pipe/plenum. this is the reason why it works alot better on forced induction cars as they produce alot of these with the help of the snail!! :)

i wanted to try this one day ..and buy a really weak BOV and loosen the valve/spring so that it can open up easier and not much pressure is required.

BUT i didnt get around to it ..as i dont want to waste my AC Autotechnic (US brand) CAI and put a hole onto it.

If you deicde to try it let us know ....

1. Yes, you can 'fit' one to any car
2. If correcty fitted the Bov might open, but you won't get any noise
3. if its NA, auto or manual it won't work (won't make a noise).
