Just got a ph call from the boys in QLD they have just run 11.81@116.25mph in there STD K20a powered AH Civic in qualifing for todays Mini Jam,this really is a major step forward for these 2 brothers to run an 11 and this really puts this car way up as the fastest street tired FWD car in Australia. As more news comes in I will post it up for you all.

We are trying to bring the car down to Sydney for a few months to develop the engine more after this meeting so it might appear at a few wed night street meetings at WSID doing some testing.

Thanks guys for the support. Both cars ran unbelievabely well with the red car finishing semi runner up and me in the silver car, runner up in the final. The red car was on a mission and we ended up bettering the 11.81 with an unbelievable 11.67 at 116.55 mph on a 1.732 60ft, also backed up by an 11.73 at 116.55 mph on a 1.767 60ft. The car eclipsed all our expectations in it's current unopened form and would like to thank all that have helped out with the project namely major sponsors GRP automotive, Dyno Dave from Redline Motorsports, and Jim and deni from Online Performance. Oh and the silver car also did a pb with a 13.85 at 98.62 mph. So an awsome day with pbs all round and times that we knew would come.

Same setup as before. RBC manifold and 70mm throttle body. The track was the reason for the pb. It was really sticky :D .

Wouldn't miss it. Both Hondas will be there with a new setup in the red car, a few bits and pieces that Dyno Dave is sorting out ;) , so it should be a very exciting month and a half leading up to it. Thanks for the support guys.

Thanks everyone! I still can't really believe it did a 11.67! This was our goal with a lot more mods. Now I am really looking forward to the next meet at Compak Attak to see if we can lower the ET even more with street tyres!

Heres a vid of me doing a 11.82 @ 116mph on a 1.80 60 foot. It focuses on the bug cause I got it off the vee dub forum.

Outstanding time on any type of tire! Really couldn't hear your car over the "bug" noise but couldn't hear any wheel hop. What suspension mods are you using to keep it at bay?

Our suspension mods include koni adjustables up front with upgraded torsion bars. On the rear we have leaf suspension with munroe shocks. The car has never really wheel hopped and we haven't touched the suspension since we bought the car. Might look into getting some custom traction bars made up, but probably after upgrading to slicks... which is a long long long way away.

Here's a cool vid showing snippets of the whole Mini Jam event. It includes our 11.81 @ 116 mph pass at the 4:48 mark and a pretty decent burnout too.
