G'day,
ive got 3 8'' subs in the boot with 2 6x9's mounted in the original holes in the back.
They go well and sound quiet bassie but the problem i have is the amount of rattle the boot and side window pannels make. Anyone ot any ideas on what i can do to fix the rattle?

I'm also looking for a new amp to power my subs and using my current on on my speakers. any suggestions on a high powered amp would be great.

We usually install a heap of sound deadening and foam to stop rattles. The amount you use will vary depending on your budget. Remember the more deadening in the car, the better is will sound. We strongly recommend you do the full front doors and various boot panels at least as sound deadening even helps factory system.peakers.

ive had a dynamat extreme door kit put in for the front splits and i can definately say that there is an improvement but i suffer a bit of the same problem with the boot. When i was gettin my install done i enquired if it would be woth the $250 to sound deaden the boot (i have a single 12" sub) but was informed that, because of the various other not entirely secure components (eg. the spoiler, number plate etc.), that it would still rattle.

That said hondas are build very solidly and i can only hear the boot rattle when standing outside the car so its not really an issue for me. For the most part tho, the more sound deadening the better but it jus turned out in my case it woodent have made a huge difference.

As for amps (and sound deadening), FHRX knows wat hes on about :)
